Hawaii

Just got back from three day marathon session of observing at Keck in Hawaii. We stayed up making our target list the first night and then observed the following two, but the schedule was so packed that it left little room for doing anything other than working during all our waking hours. I didn’t get to see any beaches either. 
Anyway, I’m going back in a few weeks for my brother’s wedding, so hopefully I’ll get my dose of sun and sand then. We did manage to get a great amount of data, including two new GRB redshift determinations and a possible host detection, but I fear I won’t be able to look at it until after I get back from Venice next week.
